We understand that becoming a foster carer is considered a vocation by many, but we also understand that it is equally not always an easy decision to take. This is why, in addition to the substantial support we shall always provide to ensure you feel well cared for as part of our family we commit to supporting you on the fostering journey through provision of what we believe to be some of the most generous fostering fees and young person allowances in the country.
Full-time foster carers
Once approved and caring for a young person in your home full-time carers will receive a professional fee of up to £35,000 pa dependent on skills and qualifications along with an additional young person’s allowances payment of up to £15,000 pa for each child in placement. It is important to also note that there are also very favourable tax relief incentives available to foster carers.
Full-time planned short-break carers
Full-time planned short break carers receive approximately £26,000 pa, along with any allowances on a pro rata basis, when a young person is living with you whilst their full-time carers take advantage of some part of the 28 days of short breaks they can access every year.
